Northwest Chinese School (NWCS) is a K–12 Chinese language school that has been an important part of Iris’s life. Iris was closely connected to NWCS, first as a student and later as a teacher. She began attending classes in September 2013, when she was just six years old, and most recently taught the Math Olympiad 3 class from September 2024 to January 2025. Her experience at NWCS was a meaningful and formative part of her journey.
To commemorate Iris’s journey with NWCS, the Iris Tang Foundation is honored to partner with the school to support its students, families, and educators; enrich school life; strengthen academic programs; and foster meaningful conversations about youth mental wellness—an issue that matters deeply to both the NWCS community and the Foundation’s mission.
